Rich Giveans is a seasoned commercial real estate professional with over 30 years of experience in landlord leasing, tenant representation, and retail development. He began his career in site selection for discount retailers, completing nearly 200 transactions while working with Ames Department Stores and Family Dollar.

Rich went on to serve as Vice President of Development at Konover Development Corporation, where he oversaw all phases of development for freestanding net lease properties, with a focus on drug store programs. In 2009, he became Vice President of Corporate Real Estate at Webster Bank, managing a 1.7 million square foot portfolio, leading new branch rollouts, and disposing of over $9 million in non-strategic assets.

For the past 12 years, Rich has been with Northeast Retail Leasing and Management, specializing in shopping center leasing and tenant representation throughout New England. He has also played a key role as a development partner in net lease property projects.

Rich holds a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and an MBA in Finance from the University of Hartford. He has been an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for over three decades.
